For this Team Tuesday, we are highlighting our Director of Interiors, Lea McRoberts Woodruff. Lea's eye for detail and ability to create healthy environments makes her an essential part of our team! Below are some fun facts about, Lea.

What is your favorite project you've been a part of at Ittner?

Working on the Lindbergh High School Renovation/Addition. A good client really makes the project!

What is your biggest career accomplishment thus far?

Becoming a licensed Architect. (Not only is Lea our Director of Interiors she also is a licensed architect, adding to her impressive skill set!)

Why did you choose your career path?

Science and math always came easy to me, but was also interested in arts and creative fields. Architecture and interiors is a good blend of these, especially when incorporating wellness.

What designer do you draw inspiration from?

All time favorite - Mies van der Rohe.

Current – KLG Architects.

I like elegant, uncomplicated designs with true materiality.

Best trip/vacation?

My favorite trip was to India with my Aunt for a friend’s Sikh wedding. It was full of beautiful architecture, culture, and new friends.

What are you reading currently?

The Feather Thief by Kirk Wallace Johnson. It’s an odd and intriguing true story that weaves together salmon fly-tying, Darwin evolutionism, field museums, and Victorian fashion. It’s wild.
