Something interesting about yourself/a hobby? I enjoy going to see live music, cooking, reading, making things, you know, the usual.

What is your favorite aspect of a project? Probably the beginning stages of creating a concept that aligns with both the program of the project and its context.

Biggest career accomplishment thus far? Being a part of multiple local projects in the St Louis region that I can point to and say, “I was a part of that.”

Why did you choose your career path? I’ve always been interested in art and creativity and feel like architecture is a way to connect art and the real world.

What designer do you draw inspiration from? Glenn Murcutt, Bryan MacKay Lyons. Anyone who is creating locally specific architecture that is reflective of its surroundings.

Favorite quote and why? Fight for the things that you care about, but do it in a way that will lead others to join you. – Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Best trip/vacation? Iceland, I went inside an active volcano! Plus, the drama of the landscape in Iceland is incredible.

What I’m reading now/Favorite book? Broken Glass, its about all the drama that ensued between Mies van der Rohe and Edith Farnsworth while he was designing the Farnsworth House.

Something that nobody at work knows about you? I’ve been skydiving. I bought a Groupon for it.

Anything else you want the people to know? I’m a west coast native.
