Construction Administrator

Job Description:

The Construction Administrator is a management position with award-winning architecture, engineering, and construction services firm. Cordogan Clark Group is composed of over 100 employees in five central US regional offices and a satellite office in Madrid, Spain.


We are searching for experienced construction industry professional with an architectural and/or engineering background who is skilled in construction administration and understands client service. The Construction Administrator will serve as the primary on-site representative for the design firm during the construction phase, working in tandem with the Project Manager and A/E design team. This role is a full-time permanent position in the St. Louis, Missouri office.


Skills and Background:

  • Effective communication and interface skills with municipal and educational industry clients and the construction companies and their personnel that build for them.

  • Ability to communicate and coordinate an A/E team throughout all phases of a design and construction project.

  • Possesses a good working understanding of sound construction practices and the architect's role in observing those practices.

  • Excellent interpersonal communications skills with the ability to build positive and impactful working relationships at all levels of the organization.

  • 5+ years of combined practice and field experience in an exceptional architecture/engineering design and/or construction firm.

  • Willingness to travel regionally.
