Marketing Specialist

The Role We Want You For 

Cordogan Clark is looking to hire a Marketing Specialist to join our team in St. Louis or any office location.  

As an integral member of the business development and marketing team, you will exercise your creative skills to develop new and engaging graphics for proposals, brochures, presentations, and displays while adhering to our brand standards, all while utilizing your writing skills to craft language that inspires the imagination as you describe our award-winning designs. 

  

The Specifics of the Role 

  • Develop cohesive and consistent message of firm's strategic vision, in collaboration with Business Development and Marketing Managers / firm leadership. 

  • Manage RFQ / RFP response process. 

  • Collaborate with firm's professional design team, consultants, and partner firms to prepare, edit, and assemble quality proposals. 

  • Coordinate presentation / interview preparation process with professional staff/firm leadership. 

  • Manage development of graphics creation and production of ancillary print material. 

  • Manage and maintain proposal documentation (staff resumes, project profiles, etc.) 

  • Assist with the maintenance of firm letterhead, business cards, website data, logos, and templates. 

  • Maintain schedules for yearly conferences, award submissions, media, photography shoots, etc. 

  • Manage coordination of design awards submissions. 

  • Manage and execute media relations administration. Coordinate press releases and e-newsletters. 

  • Placement of articles in trade and general publications and maintaining appropriate list of media outlets/ contacts. 

  • Participate in creation and production of internal and external newsletters and maintain “Insights” section of company website. 

  • Manage and execute public relations administration and work with Marketing Team to coordinate planning of events. 

  • Execute conference attendance and exhibit opportunities, and direct pursuit of staff speaking opportunities. 

  • Coordinate advertisement placement, including artwork creation and design primary and collateral materials for conferences. 

  • Manage and coordinate the use of social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) 

  • Participate in Business Development meetings. 

  • Maintaining and updating website using Wix CMS. 

  • Occasional weekend work and travel.  

 

Required Qualifications 

  • More than two years of experience with bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or related field (Advertising, Journalism, etc.). Familiarity with Architecture/Engineering/Construction markets is a plus. 

  • Requires proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint, Wix, Canva and social media platforms.

Electrical Engineering Designer / Technician

The Role We Want You For

Cordogan Clark is looking to hire an Electrical Engineering Designer / Technician to join our team in any office location.

Candidate will be responsible for assisting the office’s managing electrical engineer in general system design, modeling and drafting duties and will work on designated tasks & coordinate work in progress with the team. Candidate should have the ability to demonstrate fundamental knowledge and understanding of electrical design techniques and building code requirements.  The ideal candidate will have experience with Revit and AutoCad.

 

The Specifics of the Role

  • Report to the Engineering Project Manager and Senior Electrical Engineer

  • Works closely with the project team to execute project plans and to assist in the team's design and technical delivery

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Recent graduates through 6 or more years with relevant experience in building systems electrical engineering design

  • An understanding of electrical design, detailing, and computer proficiency using BIM 360 / Revit is required

Electrical Engineer

The Role We Want You For

Cordogan Clark is looking to hire a licensed Electrical Engineer to join our team in any office location or remotely from anywhere in the US.  This position will be counted on to mentor and nurture the professional development of staff, as well as work on a variety of project types firmwide.

Candidate will be responsible for managing integration with architectural, structural, and mechanical groups and will work on multiple projects concurrently and coordinate work in progress between firm offices, as well as outside consultants. The successful candidate must have the ability to multi-task and possess excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include estimating project costs and project budgets; building system / code analysis and feasibility studies; the preparation of electrical system specifications; reviewing shop drawings and product submittals; attending project meetings; and job site inspections & coordinating field reports. Ideal candidate will demonstrate knowledge of diverse design work for electrical building systems including indoor/outdoor lighting, power distribution and device selections, fire alarm, tele/data & video, generator/ups/tvss and software analysis.  A thorough knowledge and working understanding of all electrical system design in accordance with applicable design methods, codes, standards, and regulatory requirements is required.

 

The Specifics of the Role

  • Report to the Senior MEP Engineer and be responsible for creating the overall functional and design direction of projects

  • Can be relied upon to present directly to the client on technical and design solutions

  • Works closely with the project team to execute project plans and to provide direct supervision of the team's design and technical delivery

  • Provide mentorship to junior staff

 

Required Qualifications

  • 6 or more years of relevant experience in building systems electrical engineering design, including demonstrated experience designing multiple and complex projects

  • Licensed professional engineer registered in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and/or Missouri, or with the capability of becoming registered in each state

  • An understanding of electrical design, detailing, and computer proficiency using BIM 360 / Revit is required

  • Exemplary written and spoken communication

  • Comfortable presenting to internal staff audiences and external clients and stakeholders

Candidate will be responsible for managing integration with architectural, mechanical and electrical groups.  Candidate will work on multiple projects concurrently & coordinate work in progress between firm offices, as well as outside consultants. The successful candidate must have the ability to multi-task and possess excellent communication skills. Responsibilities will include all aspects of project development including computer modeling, construction documents, field reports, client coordination, meetings, site visits and submittal reviews. Ideal candidate will demonstrate knowledge of design work for HVAC systems, equipment, and concepts with an emphasis on boiler systems. A working understanding of building codes and standards affecting mechanical systems is a plus.

  • Report to the Senior Mechanical Engineer and be responsible for creating the overall functional and design direction of projects

  • Can be relied upon to present directly to the client on technical and design solutions

Candidate will be responsible for managing integration with architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical groups.  Candidate will work on multiple projects concurrently and coordinate work in progress between firm offices, as well as outside consultants. Responsibilities will include all aspects of project development including computer modeling, construction documents, field reports, client coordination, meetings, site visits and submittal reviews.  The ideal candidate should have the ability to demonstrate fundamental knowledge and understanding of structural design techniques, building code requirements, and detailing. Candidate should be familiar with Revit and AutoCad, and will be exposed to analysis programs such as RISA 3D, Tedds and Tekla Structural Designer.  Additional design program experience is a plus.
